FreeBSD offers advanced networking, performance, security and compatibility features today which are still missing in other operating systems, even some of the best commercial ones.

FreeBSD is an advanced operating system for x86 compatible, DEC Alpha, IA-64, PC-98 and UltraSPARC® architectures. It is derived from BSD, the version of UNIX® developed at the University of California, Berkeley. It is developed and maintained by a large team of individuals. Additional platforms are in various stages of development.

FreeBSD makes an ideal Internet or Intranet server. It provides robust network services under the heaviest loads and uses memory efficiently to maintain good response times for thousands of simultaneous user processes. Visit our gallery for examples of FreeBSD powered applications and services.

Style XP allows you to easily add new visual styles or themes to Windows XP.

It is not a skinning engine. It uses Microsoft's built-in visual style engine, but enhances it by providing many useful tools. It can import, select, rotate, and manage Themes, Visual Styles, Wallpaper, and Logons. Future versions may support sounds, cursors, screensavers, and packages of all the above. Choose to have it run in the system tray for easy management and selection of new styles, or turn it off for zero-footprint operation. No additional memory will be utilized unless you desire it.

Style XP is theming software that helps customize the way your Windows XP, Windows XP Service Pack 1, Tablet PC, or Server 2003 system looks. Style XP can manage and rotate themes, visual styles, backgrounds, and logons.

The Fedora Project (formerly Red Hat) is an openly-developed project designed by Red Hat, open for general participation, led by a meritocracy, following a set of project objectives.

The Fedora Project is an openly-developed project designed by Red Hat, open for general participation, led by a meritocracy, following a set of project objectives. The goal of The Fedora Project is to work with the Linux community to build a complete, general purpose operating system exclusively from open source software. Development will be done in a public forum.

The project will produce time-based releases of Fedora Core about 2-3 times a year, with a public release schedule. The Red Hat engineering team will continue to participate in building Fedora Core and will invite and encourage more outside participation than in past releases. By using this more open process, we hope to provide an operating system more in line with the ideals of free software and more appealing to the open source community.
